Morrison’s Bush
Just north of Martinborough is Morrison’s Bush. Have to drive through a farm to get down to the river. Lots of large kanuka. Five dollars a night, peace guaranteed.

Road to Ngawi
Drove out to see the crawler tractors and boats on trailers at Ngawi. A very exposed piece of NZ, some of the cliffs have no soil left. Climbed up to the lighthouse. Lighthouse Keepers house tucked away amongst the rocks.

Lake Wairarapa stop over and cute church
After leaving Featherston stopped over on the western side of Lake Wairarapa on way to Ngawi.

Pupu hydro walkway
The Pupu Hydro Walkway retraces an old gold-mining water race, which has been reused for power generation.
