Ramp Road from the beach after Cyclone Luci

Ramp Road beach access, approximately in the middle of the parking for vans, after the wind had settled down. A lot of sand has been swept away and the face of the dunes has steepened markedly.

Wow. Great photos of a familiar beach and favourite camping place. The wind and rain sure are destructive and a major force to be reckoned with. Hope it doesn’t wash away all the parking space. I’m in Pohara, last night, today and tonight Cyclone Luci is showing its face here. Nothing like up north though.

Hi Angela. Was a good blow but was sheltered over by the lake. Certainly can see how the coast line moves over time. Hope your trip in the South continues to be a lot of fun.
