Windfarms in Germany

Germany only gets 3.8% of its total energy needs from renewables even after spending billions

Germany has been trying to reduce its reliance on nuclear, coal and oil based electricity. This is one of the consequences.

Hope that makes you feel at one with your environment.

This shows the result of pursuing a goal without thinking what the outcome will be. Even with the millions of Euros spent they still have to rely on the old means of production. Claims are made that on one day 78% of the energy required was from renewables, but taken over the entire year, renewables still only supply 3.8% of needs. The wind does not blow or the sun shine when we want to to.
